OS2 SM single-mode fiber optic patch cords are used to connect long-distance networks between buildings and campuses, as well as in metropolitan area networks (MANs), long-distance access networks, and cable television (CATV) CCTV networks. All assemblies undergo thorough testing before delivery and are supplied with the test results. The most common connector types, configurations, and lengths are available from stock, with 3 mm cable (for added robustness) or 2 mm diameter cable available upon request. OS2 single-mode patch cords are supplied as standard with a yellow LSZH cable jacket. Custom configurations (length, color, connectors, and cable type) can be manufactured to meet specific requirements.

Our standard range of patch cords provides an optimized and cost-effective solution for most applications, including enterprise, LAN, and data communications. Patch cords provide flexible interconnection for active equipment, passive optical devices, and cross-connects.

The patch cords are terminated with our optimized range of physical contact (Single-mode SM and Multi-mode MM) zirconia ceramic locking connectors. These are manufactured using precision factory assembly and polishing techniques that help ensure high transmission quality.
