Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical speeds derived from the IEEE 802.11 standard specifications. Actual wireless data throughput, wireless coverage, and connected devices are not guaranteed and may vary depending on factors related to the Internet service provider, network conditions, customer limitations, and environmental factors such as building materials, obstacles, traffic volume and density, and customer location.
Use of Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and features such as 160 MHz bandwidth, 4K-QAM, Multi-RUs, OFDMA, and MU-MIMO requires that customers also support the corresponding features.
Actual capacity depends on the wireless environment and customer traffic and is typically less than the maximum number of customer connections.
Coverage values are estimated from laboratory testing. Actual coverage is not guaranteed and will vary as a result of customer limitations and environmental factors.
Omada Mesh, Seamless Roaming, Captive Portal, and Cloud Access require the use of an Omada SDN controller. Refer to the Omada SDN controller user guides for configuration methods.
