Twin Transmodulator with DVBS/S2 Remultiplexing – DVBT (COFDM) or DVBC (QAM), with CI
Transmodulator that generates two COFDM or QAM multiplexes (Annex A) from the multiplexing of services available on up to four different SAT TV transponders. These can be extracted from two different satellite polarities (two independent SAT-IF inputs) or from a single polarity via the headend input loop.
Through the CI interface and the corresponding CAM module, the encoded satellite channels are transformed into free-to-air terrestrial services. Depending on the CAM used (standard/professional), one or more services can be opened for free-to-air viewing.
The desired output modulation is selected through an embedded web user interface, which allows for module configuration.
It stands out for its:
Embedded web user interface for module configuration:
Selection of COFDM (DVB-T) or QAM (DVB-C) output modulation
Configuration of the entire headend from a single master module
Auto-detection of modules connected to the master
Clone function to replicate configurations between modules and headends
Headend control indicators: module temperature, CAM status, etc.
Access to the headend configuration web interface via a Wi-Fi network (using kit ref. 216802)
Total or selective elimination of services present on the received transponder, so that they are not detected (and memorized) by receivers (STBs)
Editable TS_ID, which facilitates program/service detection on the receiver (STB) because they perform channel scanning based on this identifier
LCN (Logical Channel Number), allows services present on the output to be assigned an LCN, which facilitates channel ordering on receivers (STB)
Provides information on the occupancy of each service and the total output occupancy, allowing for the optimization of distributed services.
LEDs for device monitoring and signal status
Main features
Outputs can be configured with the output loop enabled or disabled.
Service decryption via the CI interface and the corresponding CAM module.
Null packet stuffing allows faster scanning by the STB receiver.
PID filtering allows for the elimination of unneeded services within a Multiplex (occupancy utilization), which is very useful when using CAM.
Editable S_ID to prevent retuning of the STB receivers in an installation when the output Multiplex services are changed.
Editable Network_ID, Original Network_ID, and Cell_ID allow for the control of network identifiers.
